Facebook Unveils New Video Chat Feature

The new video chat feature on Facebook"A few months ago, we started working with Skype to bring video calling to Facebook," Philip Su of Facebook said on their blog. "We built it right into chat, so all your conversations start from the same place. To call your friend, just click the video call button at the top of your chat window."
As mentioned on the blog, video calling will be made available to everyone over the next few weeks, but if you don't want to wait, you can get it now by clicking here.
In May, Microsoft, who are minority owners in Facebook, bought Skype for $8.5 billion USD. This relationship between Facebook and Microsoft has been very positive for both parties, but especially for Facebook now that they can make available to their 600 million users the best video calling technology in world for free.
It still remains unknown how Facebook and Microsoft plan to monetize this service.
