First Facebook, Now Facedrink
Introducing Facedrink: the social energy drink.
Is it not enough, that virtually every facet of existence in this our brave new age, is connected to social networking (or shall we say Facebook) in some capacity? Inarguably, the success of said behemoth of social networking has birthed an assemblage of products just itching to bank on the Mark Zuckerberg brainchild. Enter stage left, Facedrink. Yes, that is correct, Facedrink “the tropical flavored energy shot”. Although evidently not affiliated with the aforesaid behemoth of social networking, the similarities cannot be denied-the product tagline is “It gives you social energy”, come on.
“Social energy is what you need to manage all of the events in your life. Whether it is work, school, sports or just getting through the daily routine Facedrink, provides you with a boost of energy to manage it all,” states the product website.
“Facedrink… provides the extra energy needed to be social or to deal with your boss,” explained a one Barry Moustapha, apparently the creator of this pseudo-energy drink.
A six-pack of the 3-calorie-only “social energy drink” will run you $18 US, and can be procured on the site, via Amazon.
A word to the wise, if you’re inclined to jump on this ephemeral bandwagon, best jump on quickly. Undoubtedly, once Zuckerberg and his cadre of $10,000 an hour attorneys catch wind of Facedrink, alas it will quickly be no more.
