The comedian will return to his standup comedy roots with shows at Place des Arts.
Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is set to return to his standup comedy roots when he performs at Place des Arts in Montreal during August.
Seinfeld shot to fame with his self-titled sitcom in the early ‘90s. The show, co-written by and starring Seinfeld, ran from 1989 to 1998. The sitcom was set in New York and focused on the misadventures of a group of friends.
He’s currently the producer of The Marriage Ref, a reality TV show where celebrity panelists discuss the quirky disputes of American couples.
Just For Laughs is promoting his leg of the tour in Canada. However, Seinfeld’s entire tour is being produced by JS Touring.
The comedian will be performing two shows on Aug. 7 (one at 7 p.m. and one at 9:30 p.m.). Tickets cost $79, $99 and $125, and are expected to go on sale Monday at 12 p.m. at the Place des Arts box office.
