Jewish Artist Wants to Exhibit Work for Free

Instead, the sculptures are kept in Diana Lubarsky’s storage unit. So before she retires, Lubarsky wants to exhibit her artwork to the public free of charge.
Though she is neither a Holocaust survivor nor a child of one, Lubarsky said images of the Holocaust just popped into her mind more than three decades ago. She said to the Hillboro News, “It took me a couple of years to come to terms with it because it had nothing to do with my life.”
After many years of sculpting such images, her collection boasts 50 bronze and clay creations. A few of them have previously been displayed in a Florida museum, but now the Jewish artist wishes to show her work to the public once more before she calls it quits.
“At this point in my life, I don't have the umph anymore,” she told the Hillsboro News. “It will be painful, but I have to move on. That's why I hope someone will take the pieces, so these people will still be remembered.”
The project enables people to receive "compendium" emails from famous folks.
