The Art Gallery of Ontario will debut a new set of work for its “Toronto Now” series. 11:11 is an installation from Toronto-based artists including Sebastian Butt, Janis Demkiw, Olia Mischenko, Sandy Plotnikoff and Christine Swintak.

“The AGO is excited to continue its commitment of showcasing local artists through 'Toronto Now,'” says Matthew Teitelbaum, the AGO’s director and CEO. “Providing a platform for Toronto-based artists to connect with the community is what the Young Gallery was designed for, and is the essence of what this series is all about.”

“Toronto Now” is an ongoing series that will feature different artists every two months. The AGO series aims to shed more light on local talent. The 11:11 exhibit is a collaborative work that includes a large-scale drawing of a manufacturing plant and three-dimensional interpretations of it.

11:11 opens to the public on June 5 and will be on display until July 25 at the Young Gallery. For more information, visit www.ago.net.
