Andrew Garfield to do all stunts for Spiderman
Andrew Garfield gets nightly massages to soothe the pain he endures on set performing his own stunts
The super-cute new Spiderman, Andrew Garfield, has insisted on doing all of his own stunts for this demanding role. Supposedly, he’s been taking a pretty hard daily beating, but he believes the pain is worth the gain.
Garfield, 27, who has replaced Tobey Maguire is the internationally acclaimed Spiderman series, has to get a professional massage every night in attempts to sooth the bruises that his body suffers on set.
“Andrew Garfield's doing all his own stunts and he's having a two-hour massage every night to keep his aches and pains at bay.” An inside source told The Daily Star today.
“He has hot Indian oil poured over him to keep his muscles supple and flexible,” the insider added.
Garfield, best known for his role as Mark Zuckerberg’s business partner Eduardo in the Oscar-winning The Social Network, is also set to star in 2012’s Back Roads. This drama centers on a young man stick in the Pennsylvania backwoods caring for his three younger sisters after the shooting death of his abusive father and the arrest of his mother.
Considering how diverse his filmography is just over the past couple years, I think it’s safe to say that our new Spidey has a long and lucrative career ahead of him.
