Ashley gives J.P Rosenbaum the final rose
The Bachelorette's Ashley Hebert chose J.P Rosenbaum on last night's season finale.
On the Monday night finale of “The Bachelorette”, Ashley Hebert made her final decision. Rosenbaum got down on one knee and proposed to Hebert during the two-hour episode.
Rosenbaum had been a fan favourite since Day 1. According to an ABC.com poll, J.P received 72 percent of the votes. Last week on “The Bachelorette”, the selection had been narrowed down to Ben Flajnik, a winemaker from Maine, and Rosenbaum. If you ask us… Ashley made the right decision!
It seemed obvious to viewers who she was going to chose. Especially after she turned down Flajnik’s proposal, and waited for Rosenbaum’s seaplane to arrive.
Rosenbaum proposed to Ashley by saying: “All the time we’ve spent together, it’s been the happiest time of my life, and you always say to me you’re smiling all the time, you’re going to have wrinkles when you’re older. Well, I smile because of you. You bring that out. What I do know for absolute certain is that I am madly in love with you. I love everything about you.”
After kneeling and presenting his bride-to-be with a Neil Lane engagement ring, he continued: “I’m so in love with you. You’re the one. You’re it. Ashley, will you marry me?”
Ashley immediately screamed “Yes!” and their passionate kiss concluded the episode.
The couple will move in together in New York City after she completes dental school next month.
