Amy Winehouse’s music and letters stolen from home
Unreleased Amy Winehouse tracks, lyric books, favourite guitar, and private letters have gone missing from the singers’ home in Camden, North London. Only 20 people, including close family, friends, security, and police, have access to her property. It is believed that someone broke in and stole these items.
Mitch Winehouse, father of the recently deceased singer, is said to be “livid”. He has vowed to find the burglar and collect his daughter’s personal property.
“This is such a sickening shock to the family. That someone would stoop so low. They can’t get their heads around it.” an insider reported.
"Mitch is livid. The family, record label and management are months away from deciding what to do with any unreleased music. For that to be taken out of their hands is horrible."
"Mitch is willing to give whoever has stolen the items a chance to do the right thing and put them back so it doesn't have to get messy." The insider told The Sun.
Winehouse’s father has been asked to provide the police with a detailed list of all valuable items. This task will be completed with the help of Amy’s partner, Reg Traviss.
The unreleased tracks and lyric books were to be used for Amy’s third album to be released posthumously.
