The Maroon 5 front man, and Voice mentor has some exceedingly choice words for conservative news outlet, Fox News. After discovering that the network used one of Maroon 5’s songs without permission, keep in mind, Levine launched a war-of-words on Twitter.

"Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil f--king channel ever again. Thank you," Levine tweeted.

Fox News had no official response to the statement, however, Red Eye host Greg Gutfeld, and Andy Levy retaliated with some decidedly infantile retorts.

“Dear @AdamLevine, don’t make crappy f–king music ever again. Thank you,” Levy wrote of Levine.

"Maroon 5's bio strangely fails to note the band was developed by the CIA as part of its enhanced interrogation techniques program," he joked.

Just prior, Levy had referred to Levine’s music as crappy.

“Dear Adam, that’s not music, ”Gutfeld opined.

"Why did Maroon 5 cross the road? Because crappy music is legal there," he tweeted with absurdity.

Levy made an appearance on Gutfeld’s Red Eye, where they continued with the antithetical repartee.

"I know what that is Andy. It's crap. If you go to iTunes and search under the category called 'crap', that comes up," Levy stated on-air.

Shockingly, Levine has not responded to either Gutfeld or Levy’s Tweets.
