Flashback: Rowling and Radcliffe at the Harry Potter premiere.

Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his role as ‘Harry Potter’ recently revealed in an exclusive interview with the series’ author, J.K Rowling that he was allergic to the first pair of glasses he was given.

The interview between Radcliffe and Rowling is one of many special features on the ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” Blu-ray and DVD set.

“It was brilliant because we put the glasses on and eventually we realized that I was allergic to them,” Radcliffe explains.

“I was actually allergic to the Harry Potter glasses. Because I had these two rings of white heads and spots that had come up around my eyes and it took us a week to realize that it was actually the glasses,” he continued.

The one-hour long interview is a must see for all ‘Harry Potter’ fans. It’s fascinating to hear how the book series changed the lives of both author and film star.

In response to Radcliffe’s allergy comment, Rowling jokingly says, “It's lucky neither of us believe in signs, isn't it?"
