Chelsea Handler Finally Opens Up About 50 Cent
The comedian admits the couple broke up when 50 Cent called her at work when Ciara to set to appear on the show.
Chelsea Handler and rapper, 50 Cent, were first rumored to be an item in 2010 after they were spotted spending time together at a club. Both celebrities dismissed all talk of a relationship, and only admitted to being friends.
Last year, Handler appeared on Piers Morgan’s show and admitted that her and the rap star had a relationship, it is ended shortly afterwards.
Now Handler has opened up about her relationship with ‘50’, as well as their reasons for breaking up.
"We dated for a couple months and then we had a falling out. One of his ex-girlfriends was coming onto my show.
"(He called to warn me and) I was like, at my job. It was just so juvenile, I was at work. I hung up and I've never spoken to him again. I do think he's a really nice guy and I think he's smart in a certain way." Handler tells E! Online.
While speaking with Howard Stern, Handler admits that the ex-girlfriend in question was Ciara, and that 50 Cent believed it would be honorable to call her while at work to admit that she still calls him to confess her love.
Handler also reveals that close friends, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, were fans of 50 Cent.
"My friends all loved him, my friends fell in love with him. They loved that I was dating him. They were like, 'Chelsea, come on.' They were both laughing really hard at it... I mean, everyone was."
