Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5 and coach on ‘The Voice’, is launching his own record label entitled 222. He’s already signed his first artist; Glee’s Matthew Morrison aka Will Schuester.

Morrison released a self-titled album through Mercury Records in May 2011. His second album will be released on 222, and the actor/musician couldn’t be more thrilled.

“Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together,” Morrison said.

Levine expressed excitement about both his new endeavor and his collaboration with Morrison.

"Starting my own label has been a long-time goal of mine, and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening…Great things are in store for [Matthew] with this release."

Matthew Morrison continues to appear on ‘Glee’ and can also be seen in the upcoming film ‘What To Expect When Expecting” starring Cameron Diaz.
