Toddler Lands Role in Sandler Movie via YouTube [VIDEO]
3-year-old baseball fanatic, Christian Haupt, scored a role in Adam Sandler's 'That's My Boy' after a casting director spotted him on YouTube.

Haupt absolutely loves baseball. In fact, he is addicted to it. He loves the sport so much that he wears his little uniform to preschool every day. His favourite team is the Dodgers and he goes to sleep every night with bedtime stories about Babe Ruth and other baseball legends. Apparently, the kid has no interest in watching cartoons. When watching TV, he only watches baseball, and on long car rides, he belts “Take Me Out to the Ballgame”.
So it comes as no surprise that Haupt’s parents have made a lot of homemade videos featuring their child prodigy. Last summer, when Haupt was only 2, his parents posted a video to YouTube of their son playing hardball.
Less than a week after the video was posted, the casting director for “That’s My Boy” spotted it. He was flown out to Cape Cod in August of last year and filmed a small scene that includes Haupt appearing to play baseball better than his adult competitors.
‘That’s My Boy’ will be released on June 15th and stars Adam Sandler, Leighton Meester, and Andy Samberg.
