Did you know there are petitions being spread around online to secure Weird Al as the Half Time entertainment for next year’s Super Bowl? Neither did I. But apparently thousands of Weird Al fans have signed petitions hoping to get the singer booked.
TMZ caught up with Weird Al to see what he thinks of his fans’ movement. The comic singer claims that he would be honoured, but he doesn’t expect the NFL to extend an invite anytime soon.
"I'd be surprised if that's being seriously considered by the NFL, but prove me wrong!"
