Woody Allen Sets His Sights on Copenhagen for Next Film
The 76-year-old auteur is hoping to film his next movie in the Danish capital.
Letty Aronson, Allen’s producer of all his European films, is in discussions with Danish producer, Per Holst (1987’s Pelle the Conqueror) with hopes of a 2013 shoot-date in Copenhagen. The filmmaker is also hoping to secure financial aid from both the city and Danish government to bankroll the project.
Allen’s upcoming film, Nero Fiddled, starring Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, and Jesse Eisenberg, which incidentally is set in Rome, is slated to open on April 20.
