The Avengers – May 4th
The first weekend in May has always been the unofficial start of Summer, with the highest grossing films of the year coming out to kick off the Blockbuster season. In years past we’ve had Sam Raimi’s Spiderman 3, and Jon Favreau’s Iron Man films owning the weekend, but this year we have the superhero film to end all superhero films; Marvel’s The Avengers. It’s taken quite a few films and many years to get here, but we finally made it; it’s the culmination of every action-packed Marvel film in recent memory and it stars all of our beloved heroes. Chris Evans is Captain America, Mark Ruffalo is The Hulk, and Robert Downey Jr. is everyone’s favourite snarky rich guy. Oh…and he’s also playing Iron Man.
Expect explosions, aliens, superheroes, and yet another amazing cameo from Stan Lee to add to his ever-growing resume when the film is released on May 4th.
