When musicians announce world tours, it simply means that they intend to perform in several continents, most likely sticking to major urban centers. But when Madonna announced her world tour for ‘MDNA’, she was literal.

The pop icon is set to launch in Israel with two concerts in Tel Aviv, but if it were up to her discretion, she would play the rest of the Middle East as well; Lebanon, Egypt, Iran, and Syria specifically.

"We would love to go play Iran. We would love to play Lebanon, Egypt and Syria at some point. ... Obviously, it's just not possible," Madonna’s manager, Guy Oseary, told the Hollywood Reporter.

During the conversation, The Hollywood Reporter asked Oseary if the current threat of war in Iran and Israel would prevent Madonna from playing her Tel Aviv shows.

"It would have to be really serious, where the lives of people working with us are in danger. If we got a letter from the government saying it's a bad time to go, we would still go. This woman doesn't cancel anything, she just goes," Oseary answered.

Look at the promo shot for MDNA. How do you think that will go down in Syria?
