Stand-up comedian and writer, Joel Chasnoff, focuses the majority of his material around being Jewish.

Besides supplying the voice for numerous cartoons, performing internationally at colleges, clubs, and Jewish conferences, and being the warm up act for Jon Stewart, Chasnoff has also released a comic memoir entitled ‘The 188th Crybaby Brigade: A Skinny Jewish Kid from Chicago Fights Hezbollah.” The book follows Chasnoff’s service in the Israeli Army as a combat soldier.

In the fall, Chasnoff will be touring North America with his new ‘Laugh and Learn Comedy Weekend’, including 60-minutes of smart, Jewishly-themed stand-up, a comedic presentation about his service in the IDF, and ‘Laughing Through History: 30 Jokes in 60 Minutes’ (described as “Judaism through the lens of our best jokes, from the Garden of Eden to Annie Hall and beyond”).

In honor of Israel’s birthday, Chasnoff wants to share a comedy clip about flying on Israeli airline, El Al. Enjoy.
