Jaden Smith Asks President Obama About Aliens
Will and Jada Pinkett Smith’s rapper son embarrasses his parents with a questions about UFO’s while visiting the White House
Jaden Smith, best known as Will Smith’s son and Justin Bieber’s BFF, was warned by his father not to ask Obama about aliens during a tour of the White House… but the rebellious teen just couldn’t resist.
While the ‘Men In Black’ star and his family were receiving a guided tour of the White House, Jaden decided to ask the President if aliens were real as they entered the “situation room”.
"The night before Jaden had said to me, 'Dad, I gotta ask the president about the aliens,' and I'm like, 'Dude, no, it's not cool. It's embarrassing. Do not ask the president!' So we get into the situation room and Jaden gets the look in his eyes and he leans over to me and asks, 'Dad, What's my punishment?' Will Smith explains to BBC Radio 1 host, Chris Moyles.
"And Barack is starting to talk about this situation room and Jaden says, 'Excuse me Mr. President?' and I'm like, 'Hey, Barack man, listen?' and Barack said, 'Don't tell me.' And in perfect form - and this is why he is the president - he stopped and looked at Jaden and said, 'The aliens, right? OK, I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of extra-terrestrials but I can tell you if there had been a top secret meeting and if there would have been a discussion about it, it would have taken place in this room," Smith continues.
I guess kids will be kids. More interesting though is Obama’s refusal to deny the existence of aliens. Isn’t there a popular saying that goes something like “If a politician will not confirm or deny, it means he is confirming”? Obviously, I’m paraphrasing… but I think Jaden might be onto something here.
