William Shatner on Rookie Blue

I have to preface this article by stating that there isn’t anything William Shatner could say or do that would shock me. What is that Bill? You enjoy nursing goats while pressing homemade tinctures? All the power to you.

Captain Kirk recently admitted to ET Canada that he was a “bandit” when he was younger. Before gaining fame and notoriety on Star Trek, the actor was a petty thief… kind of.

“I stole a bag of candy when I was six. I was in real trouble, and I cried in my father’s arms. I was in deep trouble,” Shatner explains.

Ok, so what we’ve learned from this anecdote is the following:

1. ET Canada is running out of material to report.

2. Shatner is running out of information to share after 50 years in the spotlight

3. It’s a slow news day for us as well

We also discovered that Shatner’s younger co-stars are quite impressed by his rough and tumble persona.

Missy Peregrym, Shatner’s co-star on “Rookie Blue", told the Huffington Post that “for a guy his age he is such a badass… He’s really tough. He was getting his ass kicked and kicking other people’s asses. It was awesome.”

We assume she meant on “Rookie Blue”… but as I mentioned, nothing Shatner does could shock me.
