Yelchin joins the cast of Jim Jarmusch’s “Only Lovers Left Alive”
Like Crazy star, Anton Yelchin, has just signed on for Jim Jarmusch’s newest film entitled Only Lovers Left Alive, according to Deadline.
Only Lovers Left Alive, co-starring Mia Wasikowska, Tilda Swinton, Tom Hiddleston and John Hurt, follows the story of a two-century love affair between two vampires.
Information on Yelchin’s role has not been released, nor have the names of the actors playing the two main characters.
Yelchin recently dropped out of the indie flick, Very Good Girls, in order to accept this role. Very Good Girls and Only Lovers Left Alive are shooting this summer, and the actor could not take them both on.
Yelchin wrapped recently on the sequel to J.J Abrams Star Trek 2, where he is reprising his role as Chekov, and will next be seen as the title character in the film adaptation of Dean Koontz’s Odd Thomas.
