Ronan Farrow takes to Twitter to insult his Dad on Father’s Day
Woody AllenRonan Farrow, who recently received a Rhodes scholarship, decided to celebrate Father’s Day yesterday with a message reminding the world that his step-mother was once his sister.
Farrow, 24, son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow, posted a sweet message on Twitter yesterday reading, “Happy father’s day—or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.”
Mia Farrow decided to jab that knife in a little further by re-tweeting her son’s message, and adding “BOOM.”
Ronan Farrow reportedly cut off ties with his father in 1992, when the family discovered that Woody was dating Soon-Yi Previn- Mia Farrow’s adopted daughter.
Mia Farrow and Woody Allen began dating in 1980 when Soon-Yi was 10 years old. Woody was a father figure to Soon-Yi for most of her adolescence until they began dating when she was 22. Ronan was only 5 at the time.
