Chelsea Handler Promotes ‘Love, Equality and Penetration For All’
The comedian and other celebs designed T-Shirts for the ‘Give a Damn’ campaign
On Monday, the ‘Give a Damn Campaign’, supporting LGBT rights, released a line of limited edition slogan t-shirts designed by celebrities.
“This is a part of our ongoing efforts to inspire everyone, especially straight people, to get involved in advancing equality for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community,” said the press release.
‘Give a Damn’ focuses it’s efforts on LGBT issues including workplace discrimination, hate crimes, bullying, teen suicide, marriage equality, health care, parenting, immigration, and much more.
The t-shirts, designed by ‘Give a Damn’ co-founder Cyndi Lauper, comedian Chelsea Handler, actor Alan Cumming, actress Jane Lynch, and actress Idina Menzel, are available through a partnership with RockAndRollTshirts.com.
Each celebrity design is only getting 320 prints, making them limited edition collector’s items. They sell for $34.99 and shipping will begin the week of June 22nd. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the ‘Give A Damn’ campaign.
Chelsea Handler designed two t-shirts, each with a slogan including a play on lines the comedian is famous for reciting often. The first design reads “Love, Equality, and Penetration for all” and the second slogan reads “Are you there, gay rights? It’s me, Chelsea.”
