Lifetime Picks Up Marc Cherry Series Starring Susan Lucci

Based on the Mexican telenovela, Ellas son la Alegria del Hogar (They are the Joy of Home), Devious Maids follows five maids toiling for wealthy denizens of Beverly Hills.
In addition to Susan Lucci, best known for her long-running role on All My Children, the cast will include Ana Ortiz (Ugly Betty), Judy Reyes (Scrubs), Dania Ramirez (Heroes), Roselyn Sanchez (Without a Trace), Edy Ganem (Livin’ Loud), Grant Show (Melrose Place), Brianna Brown (Homeland), Rebecca Wisocky (American Horror Story), Tom Irwin (Grey’s Anatomy), Mariana Klaveno (True Blood), Brett Cullen (Damages), Drew Van Acker (Pretty Little Liars).
Slated for a 2013 launch, Cherry will serve as an executive producer, as well as erstwhile Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria, amongst others.
