Jerry Seinfeld to Tour New York’s 5 Boroughs
The New York native wants to honor his "beloved hometown".
“I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan. I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I’m so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved hometown,” Seinfeld explained.
This will mark the first time that Seinfeld has graced a New York stage, since selling out the Broadhurst Theater in 1998 for his wildly successful HBO special, ‘I’m Telling You for the Last Time’.
The first performance will be at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre on Thursday, October 4th. Subsequent shows will be in The Bronx Lehman Concert Hall on October 11, in Queens at the Colden Auditorium on October 18, Staten Island at the St. George Theatre on November 1, and lastly, at Brooklyn’s Walt Whitman Theatre on November 8. Tickets go on sale July 30th, and suffice to say, they shall sell fast.
Each performance also feature comedian Colin Quinn as a special guest.
