Star Trek and baseball. Together at last. I personally cannot think of a more obscure marriage, but now that I’m aware of its’ existence, I’m a huge supporter.

On August 3rd at 7pm, William Shatner will be throwing the first pitch during the inaugural ‘Star Trek’ night at Dodger Stadium. Not only will the 80-something actor be participating in the game, he will also be greeting ‘Trekkies’ during pre-game festivities.

If you purchase a ticket package for ‘Star Trek’ night, not only will you be a part of history with this inaugural game, you get exclusive access to seating in the Coca-Cola All-You-Can-Eat-Pavilion and a limited edition (and soon to be very collectable) Star Trek and Los Angeles Dodger themed t-shirt.
