Natalie Portman Has Traditional Jewish Wedding
Portman and Benjamin Millepied wed at a private home in Big Sur
Oscar-winner Natalie Portman and her ‘Black Swan’ choreographer, Benjamin Millepied, wed on Saturday night in a traditional Jewish ceremony at a private residence near Big Sur, California.
According to Us Weekly, Portman and Millepied were married under a chuppah, surrounded by close family and friend, including Ivanka Trump.
Portman and Millepied met in 2009 on the set of ‘Black Swan’, and were first introduced as a couple at a New Year’s Eve party in Tribeca at the end of the same year. They announced their engagement in December 2011, and brought baby Aleph into the world in mid-2011.
Portman was born in Israel to Dr. Avner and Shelley Hershlag. She relocated to Long Island as a child where her father is chief of the Center for Human Reproduction in the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
We wish Portman and Millepied (and baby Aleph) a happy and healthy union.
