Chelsea Handler Mocks ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ in New Book
The ‘Chelsea Lately’ host will release ’50 Shades of Chartreuse: This time its personal’ in October 2013.
E! late night host, Chelsea Handler, already has three New York Times bestselling books under her belt; ‘Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea’, ‘Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang’, and ‘Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me.’
Next October, she intends to release another best-seller honoring E.L James’ ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ the only way Handler knows how to… by making fun of it.
'50 Shades of Chartreuse: This time its personal’ will be published in October 2013 under Handler’s Chelsea Handler Book/Borderline Amazing personal imprint at Grand Central Publishing.
Specifics have not yet been released, and at this time we are unsure if Handler plans to write about E.L James’ hit series or is merely mocking the title for additional publicity.
Beth de Guzman, VP, Editor-in-Chief of the paperbacks division at Grand Central, released a statement about Handler’s new book, saying “The new book is groundbreaking. Bigger stories, smaller type. We can’t wait to publish it.”
