The opening night of the Toronto Summer Music Festival (TSM) will feature Grammy and Juno Award-winning violinist James Ehnes and Leeds International Competition winner, pianist Jon Kimura Parker, who will be performing together for the first time on July 21.

Two days later on July 23, pianist Menahem Pressler will play for the festival with his newly formed piano quartet. The legendary pianist will be joined by Alexander Kerr, former concertmaster of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Lawrence Dutton, violist of the Emerson String Quartet, and Paul Watkins, cellist with London's Nash Ensemble.

Then on Saturday July 25, Japanese cellist Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi will appear in Toronto, accompanied by Yasuko Ohtani, concertmaster of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and violist Yoshiko Kawamoto.

The Canadian piano duo (James) Anagnoson & (Leslie) Kinton will be performing with the Festival on Tuesday, July 28. They recently sold out a concert at The Royal Conservatory of Music.

TSM will also feature the Leipzig String Quartet, who will make their annual trek to the festival on Thursday, July 30 with renowned clarinetist Karl Leister.

The event runs from July 21 to Aug 13, but tickets are selling out fast so make sure to buy yours well before the show.
