“The Tempest” at High Park - Until Sept. 6
The 27th Canadian Stage TD Dream in High Park presents its annual Shakespeare in the Park with the Shakespeare classic “The Tempest.” Directed by Sue Miner, “The Tempest” is set on an enchanted isle. This production features Dora Award-winning actress Karen Robinson.

“The Entertainer” at the Shaw Festival - Until Sept. 30
This play is an exposé of 1950s postwar England, seen through the eyes of a music hall performer. The Joan Osborne play is being directed by Jackie Maxwell.

“Bartholomew Fair” at the Stratford Festival - Until Oct. 2
Bartholomew Fair is a place where anything can happen. It’s a place where fraudsters and pickpockets thrive and Ursula the pig-woman trades in more than one kind of flesh. This play by Ben Jonson is being directed by Antoni Cimolino, with music by Steven Page.

Phèdre, Queen of Athens, is consumed by a dark secret: an overwhelming passion for her stepson. She decides to make her feelings known when word comes that the King is dead. “Phèdre” has been adapted by Timberlake Wertenbaker and is directed by Carey Perloff.

“Moon for the Misbegotten” at the Shaw Festival - Until Oct. 9
“Moon for the Misbegotten” is a bittersweet love story set in a dilapidated house in Connecticut where Josie Hogan and her father live off the land and struggle to survive. Written by Eugene O'Neill this love story is being directed by Joseph Ziegler and designed by Christina Poddubiuk.

“Albertine in Five Times” at the Shaw Festival - Until Oct. 10
Playwright Michel Tremblay takes his favourite character and puts her on stage with five versions of herself to talk to – five Albertines from ages 30 to 70. “Albertine in Five Times” is being directed by Micheline Chevrier with designer Teresa Prybylski.
